Your Data
Privacy Policy
FretPacer keeps your practice data on your Mac. Local practice does not require an account.
Practice data and file access
FretPacer saves practice records, material names, file links, preferences, and playback settings on your Mac so you can organize and resume your practice. When you import a local file, macOS grants the app read access to the original you select. The app does not upload your scores, audio, or practice records to the developer. It has no advertising, analytics SDK, or automatic crash-report uploader.
Online video references
Opening a YouTube or Bilibili reference loads a player from that provider. The provider may receive your IP address and device or browser information, and may use cookies under its own privacy policy. Local scores, audio, and video can be used offline.
Backups and deletion
Exported backups include practice and library metadata, including original file names, paths, and bookmarks. Backups do not contain the original media or app preferences. FretPacer does not encrypt the export. Removing a record does not delete the original media. Copies of deleted records can remain in rolling backups, restore points, or exports until you remove those copies.
This website
This preview does not use analytics, advertising, or tracking cookies. The demo video is served from this website. If you follow a link to a separate service, such as a launch updates page, that service handles any information you choose to share under its own privacy policy.
